Over the next few months we're going to be introducing you to the wines of several different regions of Southern Italy. We'll be covering a little bit of history to give the context for the wines found there today, and of course we'll be tasting our way through a selection of our favourites from each region.
You can expect to learn about the popular styles you'd expect to find, alongside as always, a few of our more niche finds! If you're planning a trip to any of these regions, or you just want to immerse yourself in a little bit of regional Italian wine then these tastings are for you!
Our first stop is Campania with some very famous DOCG wines to be found here, and the influence of volcanic soils in many parts this is a great starting point!
Our wine tastings are a fun, relaxed way to taste and learn a bit more about wine. No snobbery, just fellow wine lovers enjoying a good glass or three!
How does it work?
Our wine tastings tend to last about 90 minutes. In summer we often sit outside but in cold/bad weather we use our upstairs tasting room. During our guided tasting you’ll sample six different wines and we’ll give you all the information you need to wow your guests at your next dinner party!
We provide some cheese and bread to nibble on during the tasting – please advise us of any allergies or intolerances when you book your tickets so that we can accommodate you.
Under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003, it is an offence for persons under 18 years of age to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol. It is also an offence for anyone to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone under 18 years of age. Both the purchaser and the recipient of this ticket must be above 18 years of age and the recipient may be asked for proof of their age upon redemption of their ticket.
