Intense ruby red wine, with garnet reflections. The nose has hints of red fruit, jam and spices. A soft, velvety wine with pleasant hints of vanilla and chocolate due to aging in oak wood. It is a full-bodied, structured, round wine with a dry and persistent flavour.

Production Notes
The grapes are selected in the vineyard and harvested manually in small crates. Traditional red wine vinification, then malolactic fermentation, which softens the wine. Aging in French oak tonneaux. After bottling, the wine rests for another 2-3 months before being distributed.

The Casali del Barone range showcases some of the most classic wines from the Piemonte area. The personality of the wines from this area is celebrated through Casali del Barone, beautifully expressing the Langhe, Piemonte, Barbaresco and Barolo vineyards. Winemaking is supervised by oenologist Daniele Ress whose experience is crucial to creating this range of wines which are well-balanced and aim to be flag bearers for wines of the area.
The 150+1 wines are the work of Vallebeldo Cooperative, which has 150 members, combined with the experience of Schenk Italia. So this is the land of the 150 plus the experience of the 1 – winemaker Daniele Ress.
